Raised in San Diego and Coconut Creek, FL, Dr. Patterson developed an affinity for warm weather and cherished leisurely beach days.

Her educational journey began at the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she earned her undergraduate degree in psychology and subsequently pursued her medical degree. Driven by a commitment to addressing health disparities affecting specific populations, she furthered her studies in public health at Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Patterson's residency in pediatrics took place at the dynamic Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, shaping her expertise and dedication to the field. In 2016, she returned to South Florida, joining Pediatric Associates, contributing her skills to this large group practice. Just before the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019, Dr. Patterson made the pivotal decision to relocate to the Houston area, where she became a valued member of Texas Children's Pediatrics.
